Where these applications are
42 of the applications below, placed by postcode. Every one of them is in the list underneath with its full details, which is the complete record.
What the pins mean
- Act now
- High
- Medium
- A dot on the corner means comments are open
Pins are placed from the site's postcode, so they show the right few properties rather than the exact site, and they are not a boundary of any kind. 10 applications could not be placed at all, because land off a named road has no postcode until something is built on it. Those are in the list below like everything else.

How this list is ordered
Each application is scored on what it is: an outline application that settles whether a site is built on at all counts for far more than a porch, and dwelling numbers and uses whose effects travel, such as a solar farm or heavy vehicle movements, raise it further. That score is then weighted by how close the site is to Kentford, so proximity sets the ceiling. A large scheme in a distant parish cannot outrank the village's own business.
Tree works, extensions and condition discharges are held out of the top band whatever their score, and anything still open for public comment is raised one band because there is still time to respond. Every entry lists the reasons behind its own position so you can judge whether the council has it right.
The list is a guide to what deserves attention and carries no official standing. Always check the authority's own page, linked from every entry, for the consultation deadline and the documents. Both registers were last read on 13 October 2026 at 11.39am.
